Kiki and his wife Marie Dandrieux together founded the Lyon based New Orleans Jazz band « Sweet Mary Cat » in 1984. In the last few years they have invited Barbara and Tony on a regular basis to play with their band. They both joined   «Barbara Widmer's New Revival Band» in 2002. Christian, self-taught musician and passionate New Orleans Jazz fan, finds his inspiration on trumpet from musicians like Bunk Johnson, Kid Thomas Valentine and Percy Humphrey, but also from more modern trumpet players . His honest and effective style enhances collective improvisation, the cornerstone of New Orleans Jazz. With his singing he adds French flair to the band.
Roy was born in London. He had six years of classical clarinet tuition from the age of 10 and later played in a military band for six years with parallel interest in jazz. He formed his own band «The Stomping Wizards» in the 70’s. In ’85 he left the UK and formed two bands in Munich : «Roy’s Good Time New Orleans Band » and the «Isaria Brass Band aus München» , a 10-piece parade band. He currently lives near Lindau in Germany and still continues these bands. He joined «BW New Revival Band» in 2005 and is a member of various other New Orleans style orchestras. He has great respect for the clarinet styles of George Lewis, Albert Nicholas and Ed Hall.
Barbara, born in Winterthur, Switzerland, moved to the south of France with husband Tony in spring 2003. She studied classical piano for 11 years before switching to jazz. Her playing is mainly influenced by Alton Purnell, doyen
of  New Orleans revival pianists. She has played in New Orleans, guested
often with Sammy Rimington and  accompanied singer Lillian Boutté.
Barbara has been a member of the «Delta Four» since 1991, founded the  «Barbara Widmer’s New Revival Band» in 1998 and has developed into one
of the finest exponents of her chosen style in Europe.

Eric, living in Essex, is a professional banjo and guitar player, who has
been ( and still is ) touring worldwide with clarinettist/saxophonist Sammy Rimington for many years. He is/was a member of several well-known English New Orleans Jazz bands like « The Gambit Jazzmen» , «Sonny Morris and His Delta Jazzband» , «The Ken Colyer Trust Band» etc. and has joined «Barbara Widmer's New Revival Band» in 2005. Providing a solid
base of chords as well as excellent solos he is an indispensable part of the real New Orleans rhythm section.

Tony comes from London, but being Barbara’s husband now lives in the south
of France. He started his jazz career by playing banjo, subsequently switching
to bass. He led his own band for a time, then played with leading New Orleans revivalist bands in the UK, notably «Mike Casimir’s New Iberia Stompers» and «Colin Dawson’s Onward Jazzband». During his visits to New Orleans he played with a number of famous jazz veterans. Tony has been a member of the «Delta Four» since 1991 and is one of the co-founders of the «BW New Revival Band». With his slap style he provides a fine rhythm. He is the band’s main vocalist.

Marie, co-founder of « Sweet Mary Cat » in Lyon, educated herself on drums thanks to intense listening to and observing the New Orleans drummers of the old style. Her playing contributes largely to the lively accents which colour this music and has integrated itself quite naturally into the rhythm section of the «Barbara Widmer's New Revival Band». Her  «sweet»  singing delights any audience. With husband Kiki she visits New Orleans on a regular basis and plays there with well known musicians.
